Job summary

Talentsis in Singapore is seeking an STE on a 1-year contract to support government security projects. You will work with Project Manager and Engineers to ensure deliverables align with timeline, cost, and scope, and you will manage project documentation.

The role requires hands-on IT infrastructure skills, system and database setup, Windows OS virtualization, and knowledge of network devices. You will split time between the STE office and project sites with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Degree/diploma in IT/PM with relevant experience.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and coordination skills.
• Experience in PM, IT deployment or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Manager and Engineers to support fulfilment of contract obligations within timeline, cost, and scope.
• Manage and oversee project documentation and subcontractor matters.
• Perform system setup, database setup, resolve technical and design issues.
• Support IT infrastructure comprising Microsoft OS.
• Setup of network switches and IP configuration of network devices within the project.
• Install, debug and troubleshoot IT-related issues.
• Site deployment requires phones to be kept in lockers; only in-house line used.

Job description

• Closely collaborate with Project Manager and Engineers to support the fulfilment of contract obligations within timeline, cost, and scope
• Manage and oversee project documentations and subcontractor matters
• Perform System Setup, Database setup, resolve technical & design issues
• Support for IT infrastructure comprising Microsoft OS
• Basic setup of Network switches and able to perform network check and IP address configuration of all the network devices within the project
• Installation, Debug and troubleshooting IT-related issues
• Due to site requirements, during site deployment, all mobile phones must be placed in lockers and only the in-house phone line is permitted for use.

• Degree/ Diploma in Project Management/ Computer Science / Computer Engineering in Information Technology, Information Systems, IT Security or Equivalent.
• Good interpersonal skills, strong organizational and coordination skills
• Experience in Project Management, IT Management Systems Deployment or Equivalent experience
• Proficient in Database, Cybersecurity and Windows OS Virtualization.
• Knowledge in any of the following will be a strong plus:
  A.SQL management studio application and database table,
  B.Vulnerabilities Assessment,
  C.Software development knowledge
  D.Setup and install access control system e.g., key manage system, CCTV, card reader or gantry.
  E.Redundancy technology knowledge e.g., failover clustering, Nic teaming etc.
  F.Network Switch Configuration

• Able to perform work independently and a team player.

• Working location: Toggle between STE office and project sites
• Working hours: Mon to Fri, 0830 to 1800H. Will be expected to work beyond these days and timing dependent on work exigence.
