Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. seeks a software engineer to sustain and enhance software for existing machinery in an on-site role in Singapore. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement features based on client requirements and provide on-site troubleshooting.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in a related field, 3+ years of experience, and proficiency in C/C++ on Windows. Willingness to travel regionally is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant software development experience.
• Proficient in C, C++ programming with Windows OS.
• Experience in PC-based control programming.
• Knowledge of real-time control systems, OO design, and databases.
• Familiarity with vision systems, motion and Secsgem; senior position.
• Willing to travel regionally for work.

Responsibilities

• Sustain and continuously improve software for current machines.
• Develop and enhance software features based on customer requirements.
• Provide on-site support and troubleshooting for software issues.
• Review and update user requirement documents and operation procedures.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and application teams to implement features.
• Develop utilities to improve equipment setup and ease of operation.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Software sustaining and continuous improvement of current machine’s software.
• Responsible for software feature development and enhancement based on customer requirements.
• Provide supporting and troubleshooting to on-site software issues.
• Review and update the user requirement documents and operation procedures.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, application team to implement new hardware feature or software feature to equipment.
• Develop and enhance software utilities to improve equipment setup and easy operating abilities

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of relevant software development experience
• Proficient in C, C++ programming with Windows OS.
• Experiencedin PC-based control programming.
• Knowledge of real-time control system, object-oriented software design methodologies and database Technologies.
• Familiaritywith visionsystems, motion and Secsgem would be assigned as senior position
• Willing to travel regionally for work purpose
