The Software Development Engineer is responsible for design, develop, maintain, and optimize software applications, data platforms, reporting solutions, engineering databases, and intelligent automation systems that enable product qualification, validation, performance testing, and laboratory operations. In addition, the role will be responsible for driving adoption of data analytics, AI-assisted engineering workflows, and Agentic AI solutions to improve engineering productivity, accelerate problem resolution, and enable data-driven decision making across R&D teams.
Working closely with Hardware R&D engineers, global R&D organizations, and network support teams, the engineer will translate testing and operational requirements into scalable software solutions, advanced analytics capabilities, and AI-powered engineering tools that support HP's next generation product development initiatives.
