Job summary

Blue Ocean Systems LLC, a Univerus Company, seeks an SAP-focused data engineer in Singapore to develop and support SAP HANA, ABAP, CDS views, and BI enhancements.

You will build and optimize data models, reports, and dashboards using SAP Analytics Cloud, BW/4HANA, and Power BI, and implement integration flows across Datasphere, S/4HANA, and SAC.

Collaboration with Basis, Security, and Infrastructure teams, plus governance, security, and performance tuning in regulated environments, is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SAP HANA, ABAP, BW/4HANA, SAC, Datasphere, BTP.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Blob, AWS S3.
• Proficiency in UI5, CAP/Node.js, OData services.
• Experience in data modelling, variance analysis, and KPI dashboards.
• Ability to work in multi-entity, multi-currency planning environments.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support SAP HANA, ABAP, CDS views, and BI, SAP MM customizations.
• Build and optimize data models, reports, and dashboards using SAP Analytics Cloud, BW/4HANA, and Power BI.
• Implement integration flows between SAP Datasphere, S/4HANA, and SAC for planning and reporting.
• Convert legacy templates into structured input forms with driver-based calculations and business rules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Basis, Security, Infrastructure) for seamless system integration.
• Support BAU operations, AMS transition, and production enhancements.
• Participate in testing, documentation, and stakeholder workshops.
• Ensure data governance, security, and performance optimization in regulated environments.
