Job summary

Lyneer Corp (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a seasoned SAP BW/BI specialist in Singapore to develop, enhance, and support SAP BW/BI applications and BW/4HANA data models. The role requires coordinating transport and release activities, analyzing business requirements, and delivering documentation and UAT support, with focus on system stability and meeting SLAs. The candidate should have strong ABAP skills and collaboration abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Experience with SAP BW/BI and BW/4 HANA.
• Strong ABAP skills in user exits, BADI and routines.
• Knowledge of BO reporting tools (Crystal Reports, Webi, Analysis for Office).
• 7+ years in SAP BW/BOBJ and BW/4 HANA.
• Data modelling expertise in BW/4 HANA concepts, InfoObjects, ADSO, Composite Provider, Process chains, Bex Queries.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP BW/BI applications and solutions, including change requests, service requests, and defect resolution.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs and development deliverables in accordance with SAP development standards.
• Manage and coordinate software change, transport, and release activities in compliance with established IT processes and governance standards.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, functional specifications, user guides, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with business users, internal teams, and external vendors to deliver solutions within agreed timelines.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test preparation, issue resolution, and post-implementation support.
• Provide production support for SAP BW/BI applications, ensuring system stability, performance, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
• Monitor and maintain BW process chains, batch jobs, and data loads to ensure smooth and reliable system operations.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Degree in Computer Science orInformation Technology or related field
• SAP HANA Studio environments with knowledge of Hana Calculation View, HANA SQL
• Strong ABAP programming skillsspecifically on user exits, BADI, and routines in BW staging and reporting, and custom extractors
• Knowledge of BO reporting tools such as SAP Crystal Reports, SAP Webi, SAP Analysis for Office are added advantage
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in SAP BW, SAP BOBJ andextensive experience in SAP BW/4 HANA
• Extensive knowledge and experience in data modelling, particularly on BW/4 HANA concept,SAP BW modules in SAP BW 7.x, design of InfoObjects, ADSO, Composite Provider, Process chains and Bex Queries
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability
