Job summary

Intellect Minds Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Oracle Database Architect/Administrator to design and implement highly available, scalable database solutions. You will liaise with business owners to capture requirements and guide migration strategies such as re-architect, re-platform, re-host, retire, relocate or retain.

• Liaise with business owners to understand requirements and design scalable database solutions.
• Lead database migration strategies including re-architect, re-platform, re-host, retire, relocate or retain.
• Advise on disaster recovery for the Exadata machine.
• Design, build, and maintain the database infrastructure to store, manage, and retrieve data.
• Coordinate with presales for RFPs to support resource estimation and transitions.
• Manage Oracle 19c/12c/11g across IBM AIX, RHEL/OEL and Windows with RAC, ASM, and TAF.
• Implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions using Oracle Active Dataguard in various protection modes.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Liaise with business owners to understand the business requirements and create highly available, resilient, and scalable database solutions
• Lead and facilitate database migration strategies such as Re-architect, Re-platform, Re-host, Retire, Relocate or Retain
• Advise, provide guidance, and provide disaster recovery strategies for the Exadata machine
• Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the organization's database infrastructure to effectively store, manage, and retrieve data
• Co-ordinate with presales team in the preparation of RFPs to help with resource estimation and transitions
• Profound knowledge in the administration of Oracle 19c, 12c and 11g databases of large-scale on various platforms like IBM-AIX, RHEL/OEL and Windows
• Ample experience with High availability solutions such as Real Application Clusters (RAC), Configuration coupled with Automatic Storage Management (ASM), Fast-Start failover and TAF techniques
• Expert in implementing disaster recovery solutions using Oracle Active Dataguard in various protection modes, snapshot/cascading standbys
