Job summary

Staffhub Group in Singapore is seeking a Senior Developer to contribute to development, support, maintenance and implementation of a complex project module. You will work independently, applying judgment to plan tasks and respond to technical queries from the team and customers.

You should have in-depth knowledge of at least one OO language and strong experience with cloud infra (OpenStack, Docker, Cloud Foundry, AWS ELB) and modern APIs. BS in CS required.

Qualifications

• Experience with an object-oriented programming language (Java, C++, C#, Python).
• Expert knowledge of cloud infrastructure services (OpenStack, Docker, Cloud Foundry, AWS ELB).
• Expert knowledge of modern protocols and APIs (Protobufs/Thrift/REST/JSON/Cap'n Proto).
• Experience in web application development and hosting.
• BS in computer science or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Coach, guide and mentor junior team members.

As a Senior Developer, you are responsible for development, support, maintenance and implementation of a complex project module. You should have good experience in application of standard software development principles. You should be able to work as an independent team member, capable of applying judgment to plan and execute your tasks. You should have in-depth knowledge of at least one development technology/ programming language. You should be able to respond to technical queries / requests from team members and customers. You should be able to coach, guide and mentor junior members in the team.

Requirements

• Experience with programming with an object-oriented language, including Java, C++, C#, or Python
• Expert knowledge of cloud infrastructure services (OpenStack, Docker, Cloud Foundry, AWS ELB)
• Expert knowledge of modern protocols and APIs (Protobufs/Thrift/REST/JSON/Cap'n Proto)

• Experience in Complete design and development on Web application
• Experience in web hosting
• BS in computer science or a related field

Preferred:

• Certification in Amazon Web Services
