Job summary

Staffhub Group is seeking a Senior/ Application Development Engineer in Singapore to design, implement, and deploy IoT applications on Google Cloud Platform. You will build data pipelines from MQTT/HTTP sources, create dashboards, and ensure QoS for client projects.

The role requires a degree in Computer Science and at least 3 years of experience with GCP-based development, including FaaS/IaaS/PaaS components, and familiarity with BigQuery, BigTable, Pub/Sub, and related technologies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science required.
• 3+ years in application development on Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy IoT apps to cloud infra using GCP IoT Core.
• Develop dashboards with GCP tools and open-source viz tools like D3.
• Build data extraction/ETL pipelines from MQTT/HTTP sources into GCP.

Design, develop, test and deploy IoT applications to cloud infrastructure using the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) IoT Core.;Use GCP tools like DataLab and Open source visualization tools like D3 libraries to develop dashboards.

Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data into GCP from a wide variety of data sources (MQTT / HTTP).

Developing visualization on the data collected on Google Firestore / BigTable. (Dashboards, Charts, Reports) Using tools available in the GCP.

Ensure that the solution addresses the functional and quality of service requirements of the client.

Requirement

• Degree in Computer Science
• Minimum 3 years experience in application development using Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficient on IoT / MQTT Tools is required.;Prior experience with GCP FaaS, IaaS and PaaS Components is preferred.
• Prior experience with Big Data GCP Components like GCS DataFlow, Dataproc, BigQuery, BigTable, Pub Sub and Open Source components like MongoDB, Cassandra, Kafka etc is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with databases including BigQuery, Cloud Spanner, Cloud SQL.
