Job summary

MorganMckinley Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to facilitate change and improve lives for individuals and families facing transitional challenges through casework and counselling. You will assess needs and coordinate services to support clients effectively.

Responsibilities include conducting psycho-social assessments, planning community outreach, providing information and referrals, and contributing to research.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work or a Graduate Diploma in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Registered Social Worker with Singapore Association of Social Workers would be an advantage.
• Prior experience as a social worker would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct casework management, including gathering information, psycho-social assessment, identifying common needs and intervention goals.
• Provide case work and counselling to persons with mental health conditions, dementia and their caregivers.
• Plan, organise and implement community outreach activities, programmes and group work.
• Perform evaluation and prepare reports for administrative investigation and intervention programmes.
• Provide information and referral services to link clients to appropriate social services.
• Participate in research.
