Job summary

MCI Career Services Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to support the emotional, psychological and social well-being of teenage residents in a structured residential home. You will perform casework, risk assessments, and develop Individual Care Plans while coordinating with schools, agencies and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care and safety.

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in casework or youth support services
• Strong interpersonal, communication and counselling skills
• Compassionate, resilient and motivated to empower vulnerable youth
• Able to support after-hours emergencies when required

Responsibilities

• Provide casework and counselling support to teenagers in residential care
• Conduct needs and risk assessments; develop and implement Individual Care Plans
• Work closely with external stakeholders including schools, agencies and healthcare professionals
• Facilitate restorative work and family counselling sessions
• Monitor residents’ progress, manage incidents and maintain accurate case documentation
• Participate in weekly case conferences and follow-up actions
• Plan and run group work, life skills programmes and developmental workshops
• Coordinate relevant enrichment activities, classes and talks
• Prepare reports and support the Head of Home in assigned duties

About the Role
