Job summary

Elevan August Media is seeking a capable Content Producer (Social Media Videographer Editor) to help scale the business. You will work across multiple industries and collaborate with a motivated team to create engaging social video content.

You will ideate, shoot, and edit short-form videos for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube Shorts, while coordinating with clients and designers to meet deadlines and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Media/Communications/ Marketing or equivalent experience in marketing, video or film production
• Avid user of at least 2 prominent social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok)
• Good understanding of social media best practices and content creation
• Proficient in Creative applications (Canva, CapCut) and related editing tools

Responsibilities

• Ideation and Pre-Production: generate original content ideas and develop scripts, storyboards and shot lists.
• Filming and On-Camera Content: film on location, conduct interviews and capture engaging footage with basic lighting.
• Video Editing and Delivery: edit short-form videos for social platforms, ensure captions and pacing, deliver multiple edits.
• Content Improvement and Collaboration: monitor trends, review performance and iterate concepts with the team and clients.
