Job summary

Singapore Press Holdings Limited's Chinese Media Group (CMG) invites applications for a Social Media Specialist to lead MAVU's presence, turning investigations into engaging, platform-native content across Singapore and the region.

You will work with editorial and product teams to grow audiences, craft strategies, and strengthen information literacy and public trust through innovative formats and data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, digital media, marketing, multimedia, design or related field.
• At least three years of relevant experience in social media, digital content, audience engagement or journalism.
• Experience managing Chinese-language social media accounts preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Strong news judgment and awareness of misinformation trends and digital information landscape.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the unit's social media strategy across major platforms.
• Create platform-native content including short-form videos, graphics and explainers.
• Grow and manage online communities and monitor conversations.
• Leverage audience insights and analytics to optimise performance.
• Collaborate with editorial, product and technology teams on storytelling formats.
