Job summary

EDP APAC is seeking a proactive Social Impact and Foundation Specialist to lead volunteering, social impact and employee wellbeing initiatives across Asia-Pacific. Based at our Singapore regional HQ, you will drive programme development, stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration to deliver meaningful social impact aligned with global sustainability commitments.

The role requires strong programme management, judgement and a collaborative mindset to work across markets, cultures

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sustainability, employee engagement, or outreach.
  • Experience developing and delivering stakeholder engagement programmes.
  • Strong project management skills to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders.
  • Collaborative mindset to support wider team and organisational priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication to engage employees and stakeholders.
  • Experience across multiple countries or cultures in a regional/global organisation is an advantage.
  • Experience in renewable energy, energy, infrastructure, sustainability or a purpose-led organisation is an advantage.

Summary:

EDP APAC is seeking a proactive and collaborative social impact professional to lead volunteering, social impact and employee well-being initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region.

Based at our regional headquarters in Singapore, the Social & Foundation Specialist leads the development and delivery of EDP APAC's social impact programmes, including employee volunteering, community initiatives, and regional well-being programmes, as well as project-related administrative tasks. The role also supports broader Brand, Communications & Sustainability priorities and contributes to integrated brand and communications initiatives, internal and external events and employee engagement initiatives led by the department.

The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across APAC markets, business teams and global functions to develop initiatives that create meaningful social impact, strengthen employee participation and support EDP's wider sustainability and community commitments.

This is an individual contributor role requiring strong programme management, sound judgement and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work across varied markets, cultures and stakeholder environments.

Responsibilities:
Social Impact and Foundation Initiatives
  • Lead the planning and delivery of EDP APAC's social impact and volunteering initiatives, ensuring alignment with regional priorities and EDP Group's global social impact strategy.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for meaningful community engagement and partnerships across APAC markets.
  • Coordinate with country teams, community partners, NGOs and other stakeholders to support the effective implementation of programmes.
  • Track programme participation, outcomes and impact, and support regional and global reporting requirements.
Employee Volunteering
  • Lead the development and coordination of employee volunteering initiatives across APAC, creating opportunities that encourage meaningful participation and contribute to local communities.
  • Work with colleagues across markets to identify relevant volunteering opportunities and adapt global programmes for local implementation.
  • Build relationships with community organisations and implementation partners to support high-quality volunteering experiences.
  • Drive employee awareness and participation through effective programme planning, engagement and communications.
  • Develop and coordinate regional employee well-being initiatives in partnership with People & Organisation and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Support programmes that promote physical, mental and social well-being while responding to the needs of employees across different APAC markets.
  • Plan and deliver regional well-being campaigns, activities and events, including the adaptation of relevant global initiatives for APAC.
Integrated Brand, Communications & Sustainability Support
  • Contribute to broader Brand, Communications & Sustainability programmes and departmental priorities, working collaboratively across disciplines
  • Support integrated employee engagement campaigns, corporate events and other regional initiatives that bring together communications, culture, sustainability and social impact.
  • Identify opportunities to communicate social impact, volunteering and well-being initiatives through internal and external channels in partnership with regional and global colleagues.
  • Provide support across the department for campaigns, events and periods of increased activity, contributing to shared team priorities alongside the role's lead responsibilities.
Cross-Functional and Cross-Border Collaboration
  • Work closely with colleagues across Global Social &Foundation, Brand, Communications, People & Organisation, as well as Stakeholder Management to deliver coordinated initiatives.
  • Build strong working relationships with country teams and business stakeholders across APAC to understand local needs and encourage participation in regional programmes.
  • Coordinate with external partners, NGOs and service providers where required, setting clear expectations and ensuring quality delivery.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 of relevant experience in sustainability, employee engagement, outreach programmes or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering stakeholders engagement programmes.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders including community organisations, NGOs and external partners.
  • Strong collaborative mindset, with demonstrated willingness to contribute beyond immediate areas of responsibility to support wider team and organisational priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage employees and stakeholders around social impact and well-being initiatives.
  • Experience working across multiple countries or cultures in a regional or global organisation would be an advantage.
  • Experience in renewable energy, energy, infrastructure, sustainability or another purpose-led organisation would be an advantage.
