Job summary

TSL Media Group is seeking a Social Media Content Writer to join our creative team in Singapore. You will develop social-first content across multiple brands, turning client objectives into engaging scripts and outlines for the creative team.

You should bring 2+ years in social media or related fields, strong writing and storytelling, and a knack for turning ideas into formats and visuals. This role focuses on agency work, collaborating with designers, video teams, and editors.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in social media, content, copywriting, advertising, publishing, journalism or related field.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills.
• Good understanding of social media, particularly Instagram and TikTok.
• Someone who thinks in ideas, formats and visuals, not just words.
• Curious and plugged into current affairs, culture, trends and internet conversations.
• Able to simplify information and make it engaging.
• Comfortable writing across different tones, formats and audiences.
• Good sense of visuals and how written content translates into visual/video work.
• Comfortable using AI tools to support day-to-day work.
• Collaborative and able to work with creative teams.
• Strong attention to detail and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience developing social-first content is preferred.
• Agency, publisher or branded content experience is a plus.
• Experience writing short-form video scripts is an advantage.
• A portfolio showing writing, content thinking and social work is required.
