Job summary

Monee, part of Sea Limited, is hiring a SME & Corporate Relationship Management Lead for MariBank in Singapore. You will lead SME new business acquisition, oversee the SME loan lifecycle, and manage P&L drivers while ensuring MAS-compliant onboarding and risk controls.

You will collaborate with product, operations, risk, and credit teams to strengthen propositions and mentor a growing team of relationship managers. A Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of experience in a sales or credit analyst role in the SME segment.
• Familiarity with SME loan products; broker contacts are a strong plus.
• Solid understanding of business financials and credit fundamentals.
• Strong communication, presentation, and persuasion skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SME new business acquisition strategy, guiding the team in prospecting through calls, referrals, networking and events.
• Oversee end-to-end SME loan lifecycle from application to ongoing maintenance with risk team input.
• Own the key P&L drivers of the SME loan portfolio and drive cross-sell opportunities.
• Ensure CDD, KYC and onboarding reviews comply with MAS regulations and policies.
• Collaborate with product, operations, risk and credit teams to enhance processes and propositions.
• Recruit, develop and mentor team members with clear performance objectives.

Job Description

• Lead the SME new business acquisition strategy, guiding the team in prospecting through cold calling, referrals, networking and industry events to achieve growth targets.
• Oversee the end-to-end SME loan lifecycle, from application and approval through to ongoing maintenance, in close consultation with the credit risk team to ensure sustainable portfolio growth with sound risk management.
• Hold accountability for the key P&L drivers of the SME loan portfolio, and direct the team in identifying cross-sell and utilisation opportunities across the business lifecycle.
• Ensure that CDD, KYC and onboarding reviews are conducted rigorously and in full compliance with MAS regulations and internal policies.
• Collaborate with product, operations, risk and credit teams to enhance processes and strengthen product propositions, drawing on customer feedback and portfolio data.
• Recruit, develop and mentor team members, setting clear performance objectives and fostering the growth of future relationship managers.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a sales or credit analyst role in the SME segment.
• Familiarity with SME loan products and solutions, having existing broker contacts is a strong plus.
• Sound understanding of business financials and credit fundamentals, with the ability to identify quality business opportunities.
