Job summary

OPUS IT SERVICES PTE LTD is seeking a Project Engineer to support IoT and smart equipment deployment across school sites. The role involves site surveys, BOM preparation, installation coordination, and assisting with IoT integration and commissioning.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience and a Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Building Services, or related fields. Familiarity with MOE projects is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Building Services, or related disciplines will be a plus.
• 1–3 years of working experience as a project engineer or in related roles.
• Experience or interest in IoT, facilities management, building automation, or engineering projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys at schools to assess infrastructure and determine smart equipment requirements.
• Prepare BOMs based on site surveys and project requirements.
• Coordinate installation activities with subcontractors and provide technical guidance.
• Support IoT integration, device configuration, testing, and commissioning with the IoT platform team.
• Liaise with school representatives and stakeholders to arrange surveys, installations, testing, and handover.
• Maintain site survey reports, installation records, testing results, and project documentation.
