Sindcon (Singapore) IoT Technology Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Technical Project Engineer to coordinate IoT deployment projects, provide on-site support, and oversee field installation from site prep to handover.

The role requires troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and close collaboration with R&D and product teams, plus occasional overseas travel to support deployments. Candidates should have 5+ years of relevant experience and a Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in technical project coordination, field deployment, system integration, IoT, telecommunications, or engineering operations.
• Experience coordinating installation contractors, technicians, customers, and project stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, device configuration, firmware, network connectivity, and technical troubleshooting.
• Able to read technical documents, prepare reports, and develop SOPs or troubleshooting guides.
• Strong project coordination, problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently, take ownership of assigned projects, and perform hands-on troubleshooting.
• Willing to visit different work locations within Singapore and travel overseas when required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-installation site assessments and confirm technical and operational requirements.
• Coordinate device configuration, installation, testing, commissioning, validation, and project handover.
• Supervise contractors and technicians during field installation activities.
• Serve as a key technical point of contact for customers during project rollout and post-deployment support.
• Support overseas deployment projects when required and travel internationally on an ad-hoc basis.

About the role
