Job summary

Singtel invites motivated students to join our Smart Building Innovation & Experience Internship, where you will work with One Comcentre as a living lab. You will gain exposure to IoT, AI, data analytics and digital twins while supporting demonstrations and customer engagements.

You will translate complex solutions into engaging use cases, collaborate with business teams, technology partners and vendors, and help shape innovation roadmaps in a dynamic lab environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering or technology discipline.
• Strong interest in Smart Buildings and digital innovation.
• Good communication and presentation skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Curious, hands-on and eager to learn new technologies.
• Able to work collaboratively with internal teams, customers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Support Smart Building demonstrations, workshops, customer engagements and technology showcases.
• Ensure the One Comcentre Smart Building Show Suite is ready for customer engagements.
• Translate technical solutions into engaging demonstrations and practical use cases.
• Engage customers and stakeholders to understand challenges and opportunities.
• Capture feedback to support the innovation roadmap.
• Research emerging Smart Building technologies and industry trends.
• Collaborate with partners, startups and vendors on demonstrations and PoCs.
• Develop presentation materials and content for engagements.

As a Smart Building Innovation & Experience Intern, you will support One Comcentre as one of Singtel’s key living labs and innovation platforms, where new technologies and Smart Building use cases are explored, tested and demonstrated before being scaled to other Singtel properties and customer environments.

You will work with business teams, technology partners, start-ups, vendors and customers, gaining exposure to technologies such as IoT, AI, data analytics, automation, digital twins, smart workplace, sustainability and intelligent building systems.

Make an impact by

• Support Smart Building demonstrations, workshops, customer engagements and technology showcases.
• Ensure the One Comcentre Smart Building Show Suite and other experience environments are technically ready for customer and stakeholder engagements.
• Translate technical solutions into engaging demonstrations and practical use cases that customers can easily understand.
• Engage customers and internal stakeholders to understand their challenges and explore how Smart Building technologies can address them.
• Capture customer feedback and insights to support the team’s innovation and solution roadmap.
• Research emerging Smart Building technologies and industry trends.
• Work with technology partners, start-ups and vendors to support demonstrations and proof-of-concepts.
• Develop presentation materials, use-case narratives and other content for customer and stakeholder engagements.

Skills for Success

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Building Services Engineering, or a related engineering or technology discipline.
• Strong interest in Smart Buildings, emerging technologies and digital innovation.
• Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
• Curious, hands-on and comfortable learning and experimenting with new technologies.
• Able to work collaboratively with internal teams, customers and external partners.
