Job summary

A&N ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a tile installer to measure, cut, lay and finish tiling and marble work on site in Singapore. The role requires precision, independence and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include measuring area, quoting, stock management, cutting tiles to size, applying cement and grout, cleaning, inspections and maintaining a tidy site.

Qualifications

• Prior tiling experience preferred.
• Good measurement accuracy and precision.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Measuring the area that must be tiled or marbled to determine stock requirements.
• Able to provide accurate measurements and quotes for the intended job.
• Ordering stock supplies and gathering tiling equipment.
• Cutting and shaping tiles or marble to size.
• Cleaning and levelling the surface area.
• Applying tiling cement and arranging tiles or marble according to design plans.
• Applying tiling grout.
• Cleaning off excess grout and conducting post-installation inspections.
• Maintaining clean and tidy working environment before and after work
• Able to work independently with minimum or no supervision.
