Job summary

KRS CONTRACTORS PTE. LTD. is looking for a tile installer to measure spaces, cut and fit tiles, and prepare surfaces.

You will decorate and protect floors and walls using ceramic, clay, slate, marble, and glass tiles, then finish with grout. The role requires patience, precision, and the ability to work in clients’ homes or businesses. Applicants should be able to work under pressure and demonstrate strong attention to detail and good thinking skills.

Qualifications

• Experience cutting and shaping tiles to fit areas.
• Knowledge of levelling surfaces with plaster, sand or cement.
• Experience with mosaic tiling.
• Able to work in clients' homes or businesses.
• Patient, precise, and detail-oriented.
• Able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Work out how many tiles and how much adhesive you’ll need for a particular area
• Cut tiles to a certain size or shape with hand-cutters or bench-mounted tools
• Prepare surfaces by levelling off with plaster, sand or cement
• Decorate and protecting floors and walls using all kinds of tiles
• Fix tiles and apply grout before finishing off
• Lay intricate mosaic tiles
• Work in client’s homes or businesses
• Be patient and precise
• Be thorough, with good attention to detail
• Have thinking and reasoning skills
• Able to work well under pressure.
