Responsibilities

• Cut tiles and shape them to fit around obstacles and in tight corners using power and hand tools
• Form tile beds with concrete, plaster, cement or mortar using screeds, brushes and trowels
• Align tiles with straightedges, levels and squares for precise patterns
• Cut, install, polish and surface granite and marble with accuracy during installation
• Prepare surfaces with waterproofing material and ensure proper tiling readiness
• Create decorative wall and floor designs by laying mosaic tiles in kitchens, bathrooms and living rooms
• Follow blueprints, mark and measure surfaces to plan tiling approaches
