Job summary

STEEZY PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking passionate snowboard and skiing instructors to lead classes across skill levels, including ski simulator and freestyle areas, delivering engaging and safe sessions.

You will assist guests with rental gear, manage equipment and inventory, check machines for safety, and contribute to a vibrant action sports team in a unique Singapore venue. This role offers part-time or full-time hours with weekend shifts, competitive benefits, and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Certification as a snowboarding or skiing instructor from a recognised body (NZSIA, SBINZ, CASI, BASI, etc).
• Active snowboarder or skier with strong sport background.
• Proficiency in basic freestyle and turns.
• Experience teaching as an instructor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead classes at various skill levels in ski simulator and freestyle areas.
• Conduct daily classes, ensuring a safe and engaging experience for participants.
• Assist customers with rental equipment fitting and recommendations.
• Manage rental equipment, including maintenance and inventory control.
• Check-in guests and provide excellent customer service.
• Operate and perform regular checks on machines and equipment to maintain safety standards.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead classes at various skill levels in both ski simulator and freestyle areas
• Conduct daily classes, ensuring a safe and engaging experience for participants
• Assist customers with rental equipment fitting and recommendations
• Manage rental equipment, including maintenance and inventory control
• Check-in guests and provide excellent customer service
• Operate and perform regular checks on machines and equipment to maintain safety standards

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• Hold certification from a recognised certification body as a snowboarding or skiing instructor. (i.e. NZSIA, SBINZ, CASI, BASI and others)
• Serious snowboarder or skiier with a strong background in the sport
• Comfortable performing intermediate maneuvers such as varied turn shapes, carves and basic freestylee tricks
• Technically sound, with potential for further experience and training
• Some prior teaching experience as an instructor, delivering lessons to students

Work Arrangement & Remuneration

• Full Time and Part Time basis
• CPF contributions
• Flexible monthly schedule, with min. 15 hours of shifts a week

Requirements

• 18 years & above
• Fluent in English
• Fluency in Mandarin is a plus
• Be willing to work on weekends
• Possess integrity, honesty, time management and superb work ethic
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good knowledge of ski equipment
