Job summary

Hong Tai Construction & Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a Construction Site Manager to join the Project Management & Construction team responsible for the build and delivery of a range of projects. You will coordinate the activities of all work teams on the site to achieve project objectives for cost, time, safety, quality and environmental management.

You will plan, control safety and environmental policies, maintain project records, manage the programme and mentor foremen to ensure maximum

Qualifications

• Experience managing construction sites and coordinating multiple work teams.
• Strong planning and supervision to meet safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Ability to prepare and maintain project records and induction processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of all work teams on site to meet cost, time, safety, quality and environmental objectives.
• Plan and implement safety and environmental policies and contract obligations.
• Maintain accurate project records and ensure site induction processes are in place.
• Manage the project programme and ensure timely planning.
• Coordinate forward planning with foremen to ensure achievable schedules.
• Oversee daily coordination of significant works through pre-starts and actions across the project.
• Ensure high-quality delivery that meets the head contract requirements.
• Lead foremen, leading hands and supervisors; provide training and mentoring.
• Develop a succession plan addressing career development of team members.

Job description

Hong Tai Construction & Engineering Pte Ltd is looking for a Construction Site Manager to join the Project Management & Construction team responsible for the build and delivery of a range of projects. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

• Co-ordinate the activities of all work teams on the site to ensure that the project's objectives for cost, time, safety, quality and environmental management are achieved.
• Carry out necessary planning and implement necessary control to ensure that our safety and environmental policies and legislative and contract obligations.
• Ensure project records are accurate and correctly updated and maintained.
• Ensure a site induction process is in place.
• Manage the programme for the project and ensure project planning is undertaken and completed in a timely manner.
• Ensure, in consultation with General Foremen/Foreman, that forward planning is carried out, is achievable and is achieved.
• Ensure daily coordination of all significant works is undertaken through daily pre-starts and all necessary actions applied across the project.
• Ensure the quality of project is delivered at a consistently high level and to meet the requirements of the head contract.
• Ensure that the foremen, leading hands and supervisors on the project/s are made up of skilled and capable teams.
• Ensure direct reports are provided with training, coaching and mentoring to ensure maximum performance.
• Develop a sound succession plan that takes into consideration the career development of team members and adequately addresses their aspirations.
