Job summary

SIM LIAN CONSTRUCTION CO. (PTE.) LTD. is seeking a Site Supervisor to assist the Senior Site Supervisor in planning, organizing, and directing daily site operations in Singapore. You will monitor progress, ensure safety, and manage documentation for project stakeholders.

The role requires coordinating with subcontractors, laborers, and suppliers, promoting a culture of safety and quality, and proactively solving issues to maintain project timelines and standards.

Job description

1. Site Management

• Assist the Senior Site Supervisor in planning, organizing, and directing daily site operations.
• Monitor work progress and ensure adherence to project schedules and timelines.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

2. Team Coordination

• Collaborate with various teams, including subcontractors, laborers, and suppliers, to facilitate smooth workflow and communication.
• Provide guidance and support to site personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

3. Safety Compliance

• Promote a culture of safety on-site by implementing and enforcing safety protocols and practices.
• Conduct safety meetings and training sessions, ensuring all team members are aware of safety procedures.
• Responsible for the safe work environment for the work area under your control.

4. Quality Control

• Oversee the quality of work performed on-site, ensuring that it meets project specifications and industry standards.
• Address and resolve any quality issues promptly and effectively.

5. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including work progress, safety inspections, and incidents.
• Assist in preparing reports for project stakeholders, providing updates on site conditions and progress.

6. Problem Solving

• Identify and address potential issues that may impact project timelines or quality, proactively seeking solutions.
• Liaise with the Senior Site Supervisor / Construction Manager to escalation significant concerns and implement corrective actions as needed.

7. Other Duties

• To ensure compliance of Company's Integrated Management System (IMS).
• To ensure full compliance with WSHA and its Regulations.
• Any other duties as instructed by the Management
