Job summary

GS Engineering & Construction Corp is seeking a Safety Officer to implement and monitor health and safety on construction sites in Singapore. You will ensure a safe, tidy work environment, issue PPE, and maintain accurate health and safety records while supporting accident investigations.

The role requires a Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health and relevant certificates, with duties including site checks and adherence to OHSMS.

Qualifications

Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent.
Good communication skills, both written and oral.
Ability to work independently and meticulously with high level of motivation.
Certificate - Advanced Workplace Safety and Health Level B.
Certificate - Develop Risk Management Implementation Plan.
Certificate - WSQ Manage Work At Height.

Responsibilities

Implement and control health and safety on work sites.
Ensure a safe and tidy working environment is maintained on work sites at all times.
Issue personal protective equipment to workers on work sites.
Conduct regular site checks to ensure site staff and worker adhere to health and safety regulations.
Maintain and keep proper site health and safety records.
Assist in the investigation of all site accidents.
Minimize health and occupational hazards on sites.
Assist Safety Officer to implement and enforce OHSMS.
