Job summary

A & B SCAFFOLD ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. seeks a Safety Officer to assist the WSH Officer in managing Workplace Safety & Health issues on construction sites in Singapore. You will monitor operations, enforce safety procedures and report unsafe practices.

Responsibilities include incident investigations, daily/weekly safety reports, site checks and conducting safety training. A minimum of 3 years in construction and a valid WSH certificate with knowledge of ISO and OSHA standards are required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of working experience in the construction industry.
• Possess Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH).
• Good knowledge of ISO and OSHA safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist WSH Officer in managing Workplace Safety & Health issues in construction.
• Monitor and report all work or operation that violate safety procedures, and instructions, or would endanger life and property.
• Prepare daily/weekly workplace safe/unsafe observation report.
• Accident and incident investigation.
• Report all incidents and accident as per site/project and company’s emergency reporting protocol.
• Conduct safety training for employees.
• Conduct regular site checks and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Perform other related duties as directed that correspond to the overall function.
