Job summary

M METAL E & C PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee metal roofing and structural works on live construction sites in Singapore.

You will manage tender analysis, planning, and coordination with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery. Responsibilities include monitoring progress, liaising with authorities for permits, and preparing method statements and monthly status reports.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in structural, civil, quantity surveying, or building services engineering with 2 years relevant experience.
• Knowledge of local government safety requirements, rules, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze tender and drawings to determine project requirements.
• Coordinate daily planning and site execution for timely progress.
• Monitor progress and schedule to address delays or issues.
• Liaise with authorities to prepare permits and licenses for compliance.
• Collaborate with consultants, clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage project deliverables while enforcing safety objectives and regulations.
• Attend site meetings and inspections and report findings.
• Prepare monthly project status reports to track progress.
• Develop and submit method statements detailing procedures for work execution.
• Provide updates on schedules, manpower, plant, machinery and equipment to the Project Manager.
