Job summary

NEWCON BUILDERS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Civil/Structural Project Manager to design, coordinate and oversee assigned projects on construction sites; ensure alignment with plans and regulatory requirements; and liaise with clients, consultants and authorities to coordinate project needs.

You will supervise installation of structural components, monitor progress, prepare documentation, and troubleshoot issues while maintaining health, safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of construction methods and regulatory requirements in structural works.

Responsibilities

• Design, coordinate, plan and manage the projects assigned.
• Plan and oversee ongoing site activities ensuring alignment with project plans.
• Conduct structural analysis to ensure the integrity and safety of the steel elements.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and relevant authorities to coordinate project requirements.
• Ensure all steel members are manufactured and installed according to design specifications.
• Manage and supervise the installation of structural steel components.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for the procurement of materials.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
