Job summary

Thong Huat Brothers (PTE) LIMITED is seeking a Site Engineer in Singapore to oversee daily construction activities, coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site workers, and ensure works follow the approved schedule and drawings. You should hold a Civil/Structural/Construction Management degree and have 3–5 years of site experience, preferably in HDB BTO/residential projects.

Proficiency in reading drawings, QA/QC, and WSH is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant site experience in building or construction projects.
• Experience in HDB BTO / residential building projects is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, site coordination, and reading drawings.
• Familiar with Singapore construction practices, statutory requirements, and authorities.
• Good understanding of QA/QC and WSH requirements.
• Able to coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily construction activities on site.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers to follow schedule.
• Review architectural, structural, and M&E drawings and specs.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specs, quality standards and rules.
• Prepare site records, inspection requests, progress reports and method statements.
• Coordinate site measurements and assist with quantity verification and progress claims.
• Attend site meetings and support project targets.
