Job summary
MIDAS ENGINEERING PTE LTD is seeking a Site Engineer to supervise daily site works and installation activities in Singapore. You will read construction and shop drawings, conduct site measurements, and coordinate with factory and site teams to ensure progress aligns with project requirements.
The role requires 2 years of relevant site experience, familiarity with main contractors, and proficiency in AutoCAD.
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognised university.
- 2 years of relevant Singapore construction/site experience preferred.
- Experience with main contractor, structural works or building projects is preferred.
- Able to read construction/shop drawings and use AutoCAD.
- Strong site coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Able to independently coordinate with main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily site works and installation activities
- Read and check construction and shop drawings
- Conduct site measurements and coordinate with factory and site teams
- Monitor project progress, quality and workmanship
- Coordinate with main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and workers
- Attend site meetings and resolve site issues
- Prepare basic site reports and project documentation
- Ensure works comply with safety and project requirements
