Job summary

AKP Contract Services in Singapore seeks an experienced Site Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day facility operations, schedule planning, and resource forecasting to support project delivery.

You will manage material workflow on site, ensure safety, supervise staff, interview and onboard hires, and maintain records while fostering strong relationships with clients and contractors to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience managing day-to-day site operations.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors, clients, and team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day to day operations of the facility.
• Schedule preparation, pre-planning and resource forecasting to all activities relating to the project.
• Monitor and control material management on site as to ensure proper storage and unnecessary wastage.
• Foster positive communications and relationships with team members, management, vendors and clients.
• Provide for site safety and security, devise and implement site policies and procedures.
• Handle emergencies appropriately according to established procedures, prepare and file accident reports.
• Supervise and evaluate staff, complete employee reviews; keep accurate records of employee attendance and timesheets; provide positive direction to motivate quality performance, discipline personnel when necessary and appropriate.
• Interview candidates; onboard and train new hires.
• Set project goals and oversee projects to completion, schedule and track assignments.
• Handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Communicate with customers regarding products and services.
• Liase and work closely with contractor.
• Proactive, good team player with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time.
