Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or related field.
• Hands-on experience on Singapore HDB projects required.
• Experience with ACMV, Fire Protection and/or Plumbing & Sanitary systems.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, site coordination and installation works.
• Able to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, subcontractors and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site mechanical works and ensure activities follow project schedule and technical requirements.
• Coordinate ACMV, Fire Protection, and Plumbing & Sanitary works with site team and other trades.
• Review construction drawings and provide technical support for site issues.
• Work with consultants, contractors and subcontractors to resolve coordination and installation matters.
• Plan upcoming site activities including manpower, materials and work sequences.
• Keep track of progress and follow up on outstanding items to avoid delays.
• Arrange and attend inspections with relevant project parties.
• Follow up on defects and rectification works until closure.
• Support testing and commissioning activities as project progresses toward completion.
• Maintain proper project documentation and records for assigned works.
