Job summary

United Elite Construction Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Site Manager to take full ownership of day-to-day site operations in Singapore, driving progress while upholding quality, safety and environmental standards.

You will ensure manpower, materials and equipment are in place to meet the program milestones. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will plan, coordinate and supervise works, manage multiple subcontractors, and enforce regulatory requirements (BCA, MOM/WSH).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Building/Construction Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in residential construction, with at least 2 years in a site supervisory or management capacity.
• Working knowledge of BCA and MOM regulatory requirements, including WSH standards.
• Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple subcontractors concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute site works in line with the approved master program, ensuring resources are deployed to meet milestones.
• Forecast and monitor site resource requirements - manpower, materials, plant and machinery, and site facilities - to keep works progressing without delay.
• Review drawings ahead of construction and resolve technical issues with the Technical Department before they affect site progress.
• Chair site meetings and coordinate between project staff, internal departments, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare progress reports, meeting minutes and site documentation.
• Ensure all works are carried out to specifications, approved drawings and approved method statements.
• Enforce safety and environmental compliance on site, and review safety documentation jointly with the Safety Department.
