Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure the project is progressing according to plan.
• Schedule and supervise daily construction activities and manage subcontractors.
• Oversee and monitor work on-site to ensure it meets quality standards and follows safety regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with construction drawings and specifications.
• Ensure that all safety procedures and regulations are adhered to on-site, including the use of PPE.
• Conduct safety meetings and provide safety training to workers.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure work is carried out to the required standards.
• Address and resolve any quality issues or defects promptly.
• Manage and allocate resources efficiently, including materials, equipment, and labor.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of daily activities, including work progress, incidents, and any deviations from the plan.
• Prepare and submit progress reports to project managers and other relevant parties.
• Ensure that all work complies with local regulations, building codes, and environmental laws in Singapore.
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals for construction activities.
• Identify and address any issues or delays that arise on-site, implementing solutions to keep the project on track.
• Resolve conflicts between workers or between workers and management.
• Liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to address any concerns or changes in project scope.
• Ensure that client requirements and expectations are met.
• Train and mentor junior site staff and ensure they are aware of safety practices and construction procedures.
