Job summary

CHINA COMMUNICATIONS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LIMITED (SINGAPORE BRANCH) seeks an Environmental Officer to monitor EMP compliance, minimize environmental impacts, and conduct regular surveillance and audits on a Tuas-area site.

The role requires NEA registration and 2–4 years in construction, with familiarity in OH&S management and a 6-day work week. You will prepare control reports and engage with authorities as needed.

Qualifications

• NEA registration is mandatory.
• 2–4 years of experience in construction, civil works or similar scale.
• Familiar with Occupational Health & Safety Management System.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and verify that EMP is adhered to at all times and take action if not followed.
• Monitor environmental impacts during planning, design and construction phases.
• Conduct surveillance, monthly inspections and detailed audits.
• Compile checklists to aid surveillance and inspection requirements.
• Keep records of environment-related activities and issue spot fines for EMP transgressions.
• Identify environmental issues and recommend corrective measures.
• Prepare and submit Site Environmental Control Reports to site occupier.
