Job summary

ENGIE Singapore is seeking an experienced EHS Officer to uphold safety, health, and environmental compliance across site activities. You will conduct regular inspections, ensure MOM adherence, and manage documentation and permits.

Responsibilities include leading toolbox talks, investigating incidents, preparing essential risk assessments, and delivering training to raise safety awareness across the workforce. A Diploma and MOM/ECO registrations are preferred for this pivotal role.

Qualifications

• Diploma / O Levels or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years experience in EHS capacity, preferably in construction.
• Registered WSH Officer with MOM and ECO with NEA preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety management systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections of site activities, materials, tools, and workspaces to ensure compliance with MOM safety requirements.
• Monitor and ensure that all workers adhere to MOM regulations and safety protocols.
• Prepare monthly WSH reports, Risk Assessments, Method of Statements, and Permit to Work statistics.
• Oversee and manage all documentation, permits, and licenses related to workplace safety, health, and environmental compliance.
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings to address safety concerns, reinforce safe work practices, and communicate important safety information.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees to enhance safety awareness and knowledge.
