Job summary

APLUS GLOBAL PTE. LTD. is looking for a technical adviser for construction sites in Singapore. The role requires an engineering background and at least 3 years of construction experience. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with specifications, managing site labor, liaising with various stakeholders, and overseeing health and safety matters.

This position offers an opportunity to lead the day-to-day operations on-site and tackle unexpected technical challenges, ensuring all work is up to standards.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with at least 3 years of construction site experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of project planning and management procedures, practices, and techniques.

• Act as the technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, craftspeople, and operatives.
• Ensure all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
• Oversee the selection and requisition of materials.
• Liaise with consultants, sub-contractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project.
• Day-to-day management of the site, supervising and monitoring the site labor force and subcontractors.
• Plan the work and efficiently organize the site facilities to meet agreed deadlines.
• Oversee quality control, health, and safety matters on site.
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that arise.
