Job summary

GMP Technologies in Singapore is seeking a Site Engineer cum PE Assignee (Civil Engineering) to supervise field works, plan activities, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. You must hold a Civil Engineering degree recognized by the Singapore PE Board, be a Registered Resident Engineer with IES/BCA, and have experience on LTA road projects.

• Prepare reports and method statements when necessary.
• Manage workers and monitor safety and site cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule work in accordance to the master and detailed work programme
• Liaise with Professional Engineer on the Temporary works
• Liaise with consultants (QPS) for technical issues and coordinate site activities with subcontractors
• Handle technical and engineering problems
• Provide guidance to supervisors in relation to construction works and ensure work progress according to schedule
• Maintain quality standards, carry out site inspections and resolve technical issues on time
• Prepare report and method statement whenever necessary
• Manage workers and monitor their work closely to keep site safe and neat
• Supervise ongoing site activities closely

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by Singapore PE Board is a must.
• Registered Resident Engineer with IES/BCA with valid certification in Singapore
• Experienced in LTA road projects is preferred
• Experienced as a PE assignee for standing supervision of works
• Ability to communicate well with project principal and subcontractors.
