Job summary

Progressive Builders Pte Ltd is seeking a Resident Engineer to supervise daily construction activities, ensure quality and safety, and coordinate with consultants and clients on design submissions. You will plan operations, manage materials and labor, and maintain schedule and budget adherence on site.

The role requires a Civil/Structural Engineering degree eligible for PE Board registration, with RE certification as a plus, and at least 3 years of C&S experience, preferably in building and

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering acceptable for PE Board registration.
• RE certificate will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 3 years’ C&S work experience.
• Prefer Building and Civil works experience.
• Strong interpersonal and a team-oriented mindset.
• Able to lead subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily construction activities to ensure alignment with project plans, design, and quality standards.
• Coordinate and manage daily construction activities to align with project plans and specifications.
• Oversee on-site quality and safety, handle technical issues, and ensure compliance with project specs.
• Manage materials and labor to keep the project on schedule and within budget.
• Plan and schedule construction operations according to the Project Management Plan.
• Coordinate with consultants on design analysis, approvals, and resolving technical issues.
• Liaise with clients on design submissions and supervise work progress.
• Conduct inspections for civil work, including excavation, structural work, and casting.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and contractual requirements.
• Implement effective Environmental, Safety, and Health practices on-site.
