Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

• Proficient in Microsoft Project.
• Basic computer skills to edit Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and PDF documents.

Responsibilities

• Work closely on construction plans with clients, architects, and other professionals.
• Investigate properties of materials like glass, steel, and concrete, and advise which is most suitable.
• Work out the loads and stresses on different parts of a structure.
• Inspect unsafe buildings and recommend options for repairs or demolition.
• Ensure projects meet legal guidelines, environmental directives, and health and safety requirements.
• Give progress reports to clients and senior managers.
