XIN CHENG CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist in managing technical and operational aspects of construction projects in Singapore.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 1–2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in both Chinese and English is preferred to communicate effectively with subcontractors. The position involves daily site management, consultation with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with main contractor on residential projects is preferred.
• Must effectively liaise with consultants and subcontractors.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Assist Director/Project Manager in monitoring and managing the day-to-day technical and operational aspects of a construction project to ensure it's completed on time and within budget.
• Liaise with consultants and/or subcontractors on the project matters. Coordinate and supervise all activities on the construction site.
• Attend regular meetings with owner/client/architects/contractors/sub-contractors on the project related matters.
• Check drawings and resolve technical queries and discrepancies between drawings and those arising during the project execution.
• Monitor the work environment and ensure adherence to all relevant construction regulations and health and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively to convey technical information and manage relationships with diverse team members.
• Ad-hoc duties assigned by Director/Manager.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering – Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
• At least 1–2 years of working experience in building construction is required for this position.
• Preferably with main contractor experience on private residential projects.
• Preferably can communicate in both Chinese and English to communicate with Mandarin‑speaking subcontractors and clients.
• Preferably PR / Singaporean.
