Job summary

ANSO SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a site supervisor to oversee daily construction activities at the project site in Singapore.

You will ensure works align with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and schedules, coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site workers to maintain smooth progress. With 2–3 years of relevant experience, you will read construction drawings, apply knowledge of methods and materials, and ensure safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in civil engineering, construction management, building or related discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant construction experience preferred.
• Experience in site supervision and coordination of works.
• Able to read and understand construction drawings and specs.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials and site practices.
• Familiar with Singapore construction safety requirements and regulations.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
• Willing to work on construction sites and beyond normal hours to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve site issues in consultation with the Project Manager/Consultant.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, health and environmental requirements.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with relevant parties.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project schedules.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site workers to ensure smooth progress of works.
• Monitor site progress and ensure works are completed within the required timeline.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure all works comply with project requirements and quality standards.
• Review construction drawings and provide technical support to the site team.
• Prepare and maintain site documentation, including site reports, progress reports, inspection records and other project-related documents.
• Monitor materials, manpower and equipment usage at site.
• Identify and resolve site issues, technical problems and construction discrepancies in consultation with the Project Manager/Consultant.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, health and environmental requirements.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with relevant parties on project matters.
• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and managing construction works.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
  

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry preferred.
• Experience in site supervision and coordination of construction works.
• Able to read and understand construction drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials and site practices.
• Familiar with Singapore construction safety requirements and regulations.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Good organisational skills and able to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD and other construction-related software will be an advantage.
• Willing to work on construction sites and, when required, work beyond normal hours to meet project requirements.
