Job summary

SINOHYDRO-SINGAPORE ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION JOINT VENTURE is seeking a civil site professional to plan daily and weekly work for sections, liaise with site foremen and workers, and monitor progress to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements. The role includes checking drawings, maintaining drawings and records, and coordinating with CM/PM on site issues.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of civil engineering experience and be familiar with design & visualization

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of civil engineering experience.
• Familiar with design & visualization software such as AutoCAD / Civil 3D or similar.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily and weekly work for each section and liaise with site foremen, supervisors and workers on the work tasks and construction methods to be used.
• Monitor progress of work, quality of workmanship in compliance with site and project requirements and quality records
• Check drawings against transmittal for discrepancies and coordination issues
• Maintain structural drawings, part prints and shop drawings to ensure they are in order with the register
• Monitor site progress, progress and update CM and PM on all issues.
• Maintain records as per inspection and test plan and contract documents
• Check quality and quantity of subcontract works done

Experience / Skill Required

• Minimum 2 years’ of civil engineering experience
• Familiar with design & visualizations software such as AutoCAD / Civil 3D or similar
• Working knowledge of various construction disciplines, cost control, contract administration, scheduling, safety regulations would be an added advantage
