Job summary

ARA GLOBAL CONST PTE. LTD. seeks a foreman-level supervisor to assist the Project Manager and Site Engineer, executing construction activities in accordance with the program schedule. You will manage supervisor and worker groups, perform masonry, carpentry and formwork, and assist with measurements and leveling on site.

The role requires reading drawings, strong leadership, safety awareness, and a willingness to start early with possible overtime. A Class 3 driving license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary education or higher.
• At least 3 years in construction as foreman for rebar/road works.
• Able to read site drawings and set-outs.
• Class 3 driving license.
• Willing to start early and work overtime.
• Strong leadership and supervision skills.

Job Description

• Assist the Project Manager, Project Engineer, Site Engineer in Assisting the project, executing & ensure work is carried according to program Schedule.
• Assist in managing the work activities for the group of supervisor and workers.
• Must able to handle masonry, carpentry and formwork for full building, mearsuring and leveling when requirement needed at the site.
• Pick up and drop Workers and Supervisers from dometry to work place & work place to dometry.
• Manpower planning for the jobs in accordance to the budgeted man-hours provided by Project Engineer.
• Conduct every day tool box meeting, and maintain workers attendance, work report and safety documents.
• To provide administrative control on the site staff, instill and maintain discipline, punctuality, and process the staff leave entitlement, sick leave, in-camp training and other matter concerning the site staff administrative matters, discipline and welfare.
• To ensure that Contractor's working procedure comply with the agreed method statement and relevant workplace safety and health regulations and to direct modification to the procedure, if necessary, to comply with agreed method and safety and health regulations.
• To be understandable of construction drawings and setting out details.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least secondary and above or Have more than 03years experience in construction as formen Rebar/ Road work.
• At least 03 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Working in building works as form work supervisor/Rebar supervisor/ forman is added advantage.
• Able to handle leveling instruments and setting out of structural elements.
• Must possess minimum class 3 driving license.
• Able to start work early and work beyond the normal hours.
• Must be a team player with strong leadership, communication, and supervision skills.
