Job summary

VISION CONSTRUCTION & ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Site Engineer to oversee daily construction activities on site in Singapore.

You will ensure work aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards while coordinating with project managers, contractors, and site workers to maintain progress and safety. Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, addressing technical issues, preparing daily reports, and ensuring compliance with codes and regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field.
• Good knowledge of construction processes, site operations, and engineering practices.
• Able to read and understand construction drawings and technical documents.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and on a fast-paced construction site.
• Candidates proficient in English and Chinese are preferred.
• Experience in Singapore construction projects is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Monitor site progress and ensure construction activities are completed according to schedule.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and engineering documents.
• Identify and resolve technical issues arising during construction.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders on technical matters.
• Monitor project progress and report delays or issues to the Project Manager.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets the required quality standards.
• Ensure construction works comply with relevant codes, regulations, and project specifications.
• Ensure all site activities comply with workplace safety requirements and coordinate with the safety team.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress reports, inspection records, and other project documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, materials, manpower, and project progress.
• Assist with project meetings and provide updates on site progress and technical matters.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and site workers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Communicate project requirements and follow up on outstanding site matters.

Job Description: Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
