Job summary

Nakano Singapore (Pte) Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our Construction and Engineering team for a full-time project in the Kent Ridge Central Region. You will oversee construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline is required; experience with a Main Contractor is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Engineering or related discipline.

• Basic understanding of construction methods, site supervision and project coordination.
• Knowledge of shop drawing review, material submissions and construction documentation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• To coordinate with consultants/subcontractors on the shop drawings/samples/method statements and keep all involved parties updated of the latest changes.
• To attend project/technical meetings and resolve site issues with owner/consultants to keep progress on track.
• To verify work on site against approved drawings/specifications/authorities and ensure subcontractor rectification for non-compliance.
• To resolve site issues with consultants/subcontractors/suppliers ASAP to minimize delays.
• To ensure related documentation is updated for ISO, Green Mark audits, etc.
• To cooperate with the safety department and carry out duties within the safety framework.
• Assist site management in project planning and coordination.
• Plan and schedule work sequences for construction operations.
• Arrange and prepare documents for authorities submission for Conquas, Green Mark, BScore, CSscore, RI, TOP, etc.
• Study tender/construction drawings, specifications and contracts to understand project requirements.
• Understand critical project criteria related to schedule and productivity.
