Job summary

We are seeking a mid–senior Site Digital System Administrator to join the site Digital team at a global biopharmaceutical company in Tuas, Singapore. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field preferred.
• 10–15 years of IT infrastructure or system administration experience, pharma exp helpful.
• GxP knowledge and pharma industry understanding essential.
• Experience with Windows Server, AD, and shopfloor IT-OT integration.

Responsibilities

• Own site IT infrastructure end to end, including physical and virtual servers.

Job description

We are seeking a mid–senior Site Digital System Administrator to join the site Digital team of a global biopharmaceutical company at its new vaccines manufacturing facility in Tuas, Singapore. The facility is a next-generation, modular, multi-product plant, built on advanced on-premise digital infrastructure integrated with cloud services, with deep IT-OT integration and lab instrument connectivity.

Reporting directly to the Site Digital lead, you will own site digital infrastructure end to end, covering infrastructure management, Windows server administration, cybersecurity implementation, NetApp storage and shopfloor equipment connectivity. Acting as the bridge between the global Digital team and the site's business and automation teams, you will work independently, take accountability for issues through to resolution and adapt to the site's processes.

This is a contract role until 31 December 2027, fully onsite, Monday to Friday, 7:45am to 4:45pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the site IT infrastructure end to end, including physical and virtual servers, ensuring stable, secure and available digital operations.
• Administer Windows Servers and Active Directory, including user accounts and shopfloor domain account synchronisation.
• Implement cybersecurity at site following global processes, covering patching, privileged access management and tracking of cyber compliance status.
• Administer the NetApp storage file sharing solution, including shares, access and day-to-day support.
• Act as the bridge between global Digital, business and automation teams, coordinating cross-functionally and supporting users across the site directly.
• Engage global support teams to drive incidents to resolution under incident and change management processes, taking ownership rather than waiting for direction.
• Maintain local application documentation, including architecture specifications, maintenance and updates, and the firewall flow matrix.
• Support shopfloor manufacturing and lab equipment connected to the site digital network.
• Work within GxP requirements, supporting system qualification and keeping documentation inspection-ready.

Requirements

• 10–15 years of experience in IT infrastructure or system administration, with solid exposure to pharmaceutical manufacturing. Not all experience needs to be in pharma, but GxP knowledge and pharma industry understanding are essential.
• Strong hands-on skills in Windows Server, Active Directory, physical and virtual servers and network fundamentals; experience supporting shopfloor equipment connected to a digital network (IT-OT).
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity practices (patching, privileged access, compliance) and the ability to implement them at site by following defined processes; deep specialist expertise is not required.
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux servers, networking and firewalls, and application architecture; NetApp storage experience is a plus.
• Solid understanding of incident and change management processes.
• A self-driven professional who takes charge of the end-to-end process, is accountable for the role and handles situations independently, rather than simply following instructions.
• Strong communication skills and confidence coordinating with business users, automation teams and global IT support; able to adapt quickly to site processes.
• A Bachelor's degree in IT or a related discipline is an added advantage.
