Job summary

CTCI Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Site Construction Manager to lead daily on-site activities for semiconductor Frontend FAB facilities in Woodlands North, Singapore.

• Experience in Semiconductor FAB, cleanroom or large-scale MEP construction preferred.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.

Job description

Job Summary

Lead and oversee daily on-site construction activities for semiconductor Frontend FAB facilities, ensuring safe, timely and quality execution in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, construction schedules and Singapore regulatory requirements.

Responsible for site supervision, contractor management, construction progress monitoring and multidisciplinary coordination. Provide technical guidance to site teams and resolve construction issues to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Construction Management

• Be physically present on-site to monitor and oversee daily construction activities.
• Lead and supervise site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and construction teams.
• Provide technical guidance to ensure works comply with approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment and daily construction progress.

2. Construction Planning & Coordination

• Plan and coordinate construction schedules, work sequences and subcontractor activities.
• Coordinate Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, Fire Protection and other MEP/Facility disciplines.
• Identify and resolve site coordination issues, construction clashes and potential delays.
• Ensure construction activities meet project milestones and schedules.

3. Contractor & Technical Management

• Manage subcontractors and monitor their performance, productivity and workmanship.
• Review construction drawings, shop drawings, method statements and installation procedures.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues, RFIs and design discrepancies.
• Conduct regular site meetings and follow up on outstanding construction matters.

4. Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure construction works comply with project specifications, quality standards and Singapore regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor construction workmanship.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and WSH teams to ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Ensure defects, non-conformities and safety issues are properly addressed.

5. Progress Monitoring & Project Handover

• Monitor daily and weekly construction progress against approved schedules.
• Prepare site progress reports and identify construction risks, delays and resource constraints.
• Coordinate construction completion, inspections, punch list rectification and handover documentation.
• Ensure all works are completed according to project requirements and handover schedules.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in construction management, site supervision or industrial building projects.
• Semiconductor FAB, cleanroom, high-tech industrial or large-scale MEP construction experience is highly preferred.
• Proven experience managing on-site construction activities, subcontractors, manpower and project schedules.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, site operations and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings and technical documents.
• Familiar with Singapore BCA requirements, building regulations and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work on-site, including extended hours or shifts when required.
• Relevant qualifications and licences must comply with applicable Singapore laws and regulations.
