Job summary

HITACHI PLANT CONSTRUCTION, LTD. Singapore Branch seeks a Site Construction Manager to oversee daily site operations, plan schedules and coordinate with project teams, contractors and subcontractors to ensure progress, safety and quality.

The role requires an engineering degree or diploma and at least 5 years in construction management, with strong communication and independent coordination skills across diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of project/site construction management experience.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee day-to-day site construction activities and operations.
• Plan, develop and manage construction processes and work schedules.
• Coordinate site activities with project teams, contractors and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress to meet project requirements, schedule and quality standards.
• Identify and resolve site construction issues promptly.
• Coordinate manpower, materials and site resources effectively.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and project requirements.
• Attend site and project coordination meetings and provide progress updates.
• Prepare and maintain project and site documentation.
• Perform other project-related duties as assigned.
