Job summary

GAMMON PTE. LIMITED is seeking a site-based Civil Engineering professional to assist the Project Manager in daily execution, ensure quality and safety plans are followed, and coordinate with the operations team and contractors on site.

You will review drawings, track progress, and ensure materials submission, ordering, and delivery align with the project schedule while maintaining quality records.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, recognized by Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore.
• At least 3 years’ experience with extensive experience in large civil engineering projects.
• Excellent team player with good interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude.
• Strong business acumen with strong analytical skills.
• Strong negotiation and planning skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in the daily execution of work
• Ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the Project Quality & Safety Plan, contract requirements, including drawings and specifications
• Monitor, control and coordinate site works with the operations team as well as contractors
• Establish and implement controls to ensure that works are carried out safely according to the works programme and produce short-term works plans
• Check construction drawings and highlight discrepancies
• Ensure that all corrective action or preventive action is implemented effectively, and quality records are properly maintained
• Monitor and control progress to make sure that turnover and cost is in line with master construction program
• Ensure material submission and approval, ordering and delivery are according to agreed schedules
